Refund and Return Policy

This Refund and Return Policy applies to all transactions made through the Raisepath platform.

Donations

Donations are generally final and non-refundable.

Donation refunds may be granted at our discretion ONLY when ALL of the following conditions are met:

  1. The refund is requested within 5 days of the donation date, AND
  2. The associated payout to the recipient organization has NOT yet been completed.

If a payout has already been issued to the organization, no refund is possible — the donor must contact the recipient organization directly.

Refund amount: When granted, donation refunds return the original donation amount only. The 12.5% platform fee is non-refundable and will be retained by Raisepath as a service fee. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe are also non-refundable.

Example: A donor gives $100 with a $12.50 platform fee (charged $112.50 total). If refunded, the donor receives $100 back. The $12.50 platform fee is retained.

Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable.

Once purchased, tickets to events organized through the Raisepath platform cannot be refunded. If an event is cancelled or substantially changed by the organizing entity, refund decisions are at the discretion of the organizing entity, not Raisepath.

Physical Goods (Non-Customized)

Non-customized physical goods may be returned or refunded under the following circumstances:

  • Damaged in shipping: Items damaged during shipping will be replaced or refunded. Photo documentation must be submitted within 7 days of receipt.
  • Defective: Items with manufacturing defects will be replaced or refunded. Must be reported within 14 days of receipt.
  • Clear platform error: Items shipped in error will be replaced or refunded.

Returns for buyer's remorse, changed mind, or fit preferences are NOT accepted.

Customized and Personalized Items

Customized items, including personalized keepsakes, custom-printed apparel, and items with user-uploaded images, are NON-REFUNDABLE unless:

  • Damaged in shipping (with photo documentation submitted within 7 days), or
  • Clear platform or manufacturing error

Customer dissatisfaction with the customization itself is NOT grounds for refund, including image cropping preferences, color appearance, buyer's remorse, or sizing decisions made by the buyer.

We strongly encourage buyers to carefully review their customization before completing purchase.

Shipping Refunds

Shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases where:

  • The package is lost in transit, or
  • Raisepath shipped the wrong item

We do not guarantee acceptance of shipping refund requests.

How to Request a Refund

Contact support@[YOUR_DOMAIN] with:

  1. Your order or donation confirmation number
  2. The reason for your refund request
  3. Photo documentation if applicable
  4. Date of original transaction

Requests reviewed within 5 business days. Approved refunds processed within 7-10 business days.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback through your card issuer without first contacting Raisepath support may result in account suspension.
